Al-Itqan Institute exists to preserve and transmit the sacred tradition of Quranic recitation with mastery, precision, and beauty. We believe the Quran deserves more than memorization—it deserves perfection.
Through personalized 1-on-1 instruction rooted in authentic chains of transmission (isnad), we guide serious students from Hifz completion to Qari-level mastery, and ultimately to Ijazah preparation for those who seek it.
Received Ijazah in the Qira'at of Imam Asim through two narrations: Hafs and Shu'bah.

This Ijazah represents an unbroken chain of transmission (isnad) back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through Imam Asim al-Kufi.
Currently studying the Riwayah of Soosi on the authority of Imam Abu Amr Al-Basri.

Continuing to deepen knowledge in the broader tradition of the 10 Qira'at.
Engaged in intensive, in-depth studies of Tajweed and Qira'at, focusing on mastering the intricacies of recitation at the highest levels.

7+ years teaching Quran and Hifz at prestigious institutions including Assalaam Institute of Qur'an and Islamic Foundation of Toronto.
Alhamdulillah, completed memorization of the entire Quran under the guidance of experienced teachers. This was just the beginning.
Started teaching at Assalaam Institute of Qur'an, learning that the best way to truly master something is to teach it to others.
Studied under Dr. Muhammad Fouad Abdulmajeed and received Ijazah in Qira'at of Imam Asim (Hafs & Shu'bah), fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Began intensive studies under Dr. Moaaz Safwat, one of the leading scholars of Tajweed and Qira'at. Also continuing studies in the Riwayah of Soosi with Dr. Muhammad Fouad, expanding knowledge in the broader tradition of the 10 Qira'at.
Launched Al-Itqan Institute to provide premium, personalized Quranic instruction to serious students seeking mastery.
We believe that the Quran deserves to be recited with excellence. Not just memorized, not just read, but mastered — with precision, beauty, and deep understanding.
Too many students rush through Hifz, complete it with errors, and never return to perfect what they've memorized. This doesn't honor the Book of Allah. At Al-Itqan Institute, we do things differently.
